The Bottle of Milk
This was once the best breakfast spot in Lorne, until they changed their menu because of the lockdown and the low visitor count. Crossing my fingers they bring back the child scrambled eggs and egg-truffle mushrooms.
Matilda Bay Brewery
If Innocent Bystander is full, go here. Very good pub food with a hint of gourmet.
Belle's
Gourmet, American-style fried chicken (and shrooms!) plus booze. Worth the trek up to Fitzroy for the ambience alone.
Napier Quarter
Very French, but also, Very Melbourne. Don’t expect a heavy meal here though.
Valhalla
A literal underground bar. Excellent service.
Bia Hoi
And this is the other reason I go to Glen Waverley.
Hwaro KBBQ
Very fancy Korean BBQ. Gets crowded sometimes so do book ahead.
Supernormal
Fancy, and filling modern Asian food. Get the set menu if you’re going with a group.
