Great brunch spot in North Melbourne. Gets real busy, so be a little classy and get here 10 minutes early to save a table for your brunch date.

A cheesemonger that makes toasties? Yes please!
If you ever happen to be right in the middle of city, just along Elizabeth Street, pass by here for good coffee (and espresso beans!) that won’t let you down. Good selection of pastries and snacks too.
A decent brunch spot just north of the Yarra. A little difficult to get to, but great if you’re driving in with a group for contemporary breakfast or lunch.
Over-the-top pricey brunch, in this economy?! No thanks. Also fondly remembering the time they just threw dripping-wet rocket all over my plate. Good times. Coffee’s alright though.
Used to visit a lot pre-pandemic, and only recently started coming back again. The barista still remembers my name AND my coffee order! Bless her soul. Oh, and the coffee’s good too. (Secret menu item: they do a real mean affogato).
Grab some Japanese sandwiches, pastries, and other treats from here and have a little picnic in the park across. The ice-cream flavours here are a highlight—with funky flavours like edamame, akashiso and calpico—that rotate every other day. Very cute little food spot.
Came for the Mont Blanc, stayed for the 70s soul hits playing on vinyl. Peak hipster vibes. I’ll be coming back for their night-time bar menu and cocktails.
