Get Shucked
Just good oysters! That’s it really.

The place really deserves a better fit-out—this unassuming food joint has one of the best Japanese foods I’ve ever tried, almost fine-dining quality, if you will.
Had a bit of an Anton Ego moment here and got flashbacks to my first days in Australia. Very good homely food, in a very cosy space.
The vibe is incredible. If I were Korean, this place would make me feel at home. Oh, the food is excellent too. I want more of that kimchi.
Some of the best pastries this side of Australia. Bit of a different take on croissants though, they’re a little on the buttery side.
Typical brunch vibes, but with an interesting menu drawing inspo from Asian & South East Asian dishes. Good coffee on hand too—expected, as Commonfolk’s sister café.
It’s like the Aesop of grocery-cafés. Luxurious, with fancy pastries and vibes. I’m coming back to try their kimchi toastie.
Make you and your date feel like VIPs by cutting through the long line in front of Hareruya Pantry, into a secret door, then up to a very fancy and hipster Japanese bar & restaurant. Oh and the food, my goodness, it hits.
